Happiness First Challenge: Day 1

Yesterday I wrote about a TED Talk about happiness and how it relates to success. If you haven’t had a chance to watch the video yet, I highly recommend finding a little time today to take a peek. Regardless, I’ve decided that I’m going to take some advice from Shawn Achor and write down three things I’m grateful for every day for the next 21 days. Supposedly, this little exercise will increase my level of happiness for the next six months. Worth a try, right?

I’m grateful for…
1. Friends who make me feel really good about myself. Who say really nice things and build up my confidence.
2. Just enough spare change in my car, which allows me to plug my meter and not get a parking ticket!
3. My BLOG, of course! I’m so excited about having this creative outlet for my passion.
